Christmas is coming. Now what with all of these responsibilities at HOME how will I EVER get everything done?
Where IS MY list? Is your heart overwhelmed by ALL You have to do today? I must admit I was feeling that way! I wrote this for myself today! Read more with me as I #JourneyThroughAdvent Jesus is Immanuel -God with us. I know that God is with me when scriptures come alive to me.
If that is how you are feeling (like me today) STOP! Do not get distracted. Do not be worried or anxious. Focus on what really matters. Sit at the feet of Jesus just as Mary did. Laurel, Learn to Sit and be quiet!!!!
“But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.” But the Lord replied to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.””

Lord I thank you I rejoice in your presence! Before I read this I was asking HOW AND WHAT DO I DO now with all that you have placed in me? And then I read the REJOICE GREATLY, daughter of Zion, shout daughter of Jerusalem, see your KING come, you righteous and victorious…
Thank you Lord Jesus, that you came to live and to die on the cross for me! Thank you Jesus I can stand in faith! That’s what you tell us, the righteous must live in faith. Thank you Jesus, that you came down to earth, you chose to leave Heaven, You Jesus, who knew no sin became sin for me and while I was yet a sinner you died for me!
As I think about this Advent Season, I really want to MAKE the time to ponder on all that Jesus did! Who he is! What is done and what he will do in the future! Victory has been WON by the blood of the lamb. I WILL practice sitting at His Feet!
