Fabulous Foods Friday – Dehydration! Be sure to drink your water!

I love this Man! I am so much like Him!!! I forget to drink my WATER TOO!

My dad was recently admitted into the ER. Do you know why?

DEHYDRATION

Did you know if you do not drink enough water with only a 10% dehydration rate your brain is not able to function? Continue to increase your dehydration, affects your pulse, your blood pressure, and even your mental abilities.

In addition, if you drink a lot of water, you need to make sure that your electrolytes are at a proper balance. If you throw off your electrolytes, it messes with your body and mind. I discovered this by accident while I was working in a greenhouse.

One day, it was in mid 90s I had drank 2 gallons of water. Upon returning to my car to drive home. I unknowingly removed all of the electrolytes from my body. Consequently, began to drive home. however, I was a bit delirious, recognizing I had a problem I stopped, and drank some water with vitamin C and electrolyte in it along with a protein bar suddenly my mind cleared. I was shocked into the knowledge of a problem with my electrolytes!
