Lent Day 14
Do not be afraid!
Be strong and courageous. Do not tremble or be dismayed.
Are you filled with fear?
With all the concerns that are going on in the world today is too difficult to not be afraid.
Today as you focus during Lent, I want to encourage you do not be afraid! Be of good courage. Surely, we cannot understand what is going on. Yet we are to be at peace.
How in the world can I have peace? The Bible promises each of us peace. A peace that surpasses all understanding. God wants you to be filled with peace not FEAR!
God is still in control. We are told to seek peace and pursue it. That is an active process.
Find your place where you can be at peace. Try meditations, try prayer, we can still go for a walk outside, bask in a sunny window, begin a gratitude book of all the things that you are thankful for.
The promise of hope and peace. The promise “I will not fear! I will live with Hope for the next 19 days!
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
