Is It Possible to FORGIVE?

Lent Day 15 – How can I forgive?

Forgiveness is one of the most powerful forces in existence! To walk in forgiveness is to walk in victory. Is it easy to walk in forgiveness? No way. Yet when we walk in forgiveness we walk in God’s power. I wonder if we would see so many more healings if we only learned to forgive not holding anger and bitterness in our hearts but forgiveness. Ponder these questions today. Does UNforgiveness lead to sickness and pain? OR Would Forgiveness Lead to Healing? What if healing the SOUL brought healing to the BODY?

I heard it said once “UNforgiveness is like me DRINKING Poison expecting the OTHER person to DIE”

During this Lenten season what a great time to reflect all Jesus did when HE died on the cross. He FORGAVE our SINS HE was wounded for our transgressions HE was bruised for our iniquities and by his stripes we are healed. Jesus, did all that to forgive us for our sins! We are commanded to do the same. Yet, HOW can I forgive? Release the anger

If we cannot forgive on our own Pray Eph 4: 31-32

Lord Jesus only in your power can I get rid of bitterness, rage, anger, fighting, slander and every other form of malice.

Lord Jesus, help me to be kind and compassionate to one another to forgive each other just as in Christ God forgave me. It’s not in my power do you forgive but Jesus you forgive through me then I may walk into forgiveness!

Lord Jesus, by the blood of Jesus I choose to forgive as I walk in forgiveness I walk in victory and power! When I can’t forgive on my own, Lord help me to get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, help me to be kind and compassionate to one another forgiving each other just as in Christ God has forgiven me. For in my own power I am unable to forgive, yet through the power of Jesus Christ bring forgiveness through our hearts into another’s life. In Jesus Name. Amen
