Day 27 of 30 Days of Thanks – An Act of Kindness
Have You ever been blessed by an act of kindness? I have!
Recently, when I was sick my good friend brought me some chicken noodle soup and fruit salad. I was so blessed! For when we are weak it’s not always easy to cook.
What have you done for your brother lately? The Bible tells us what we do for the least we do for Jesus.
““The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’”
Matthew 25:40, 42-43 NIV
““They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’”
Matthew 25:44-45 NIV
So often at Thanksgiving and Christmas we give and yet shouldn’t we be giving all year long?
God challenges me all the time. When I hear his small voice, I no longer question I just do it.
No matter how small. Writing an encouragement note. This is one of the reasons I share Hope.
Whether it’s taking a fresh vegetables from the garden, or a pint of homemade soup, or even flowers It’s amazing the blessing we receive when we bless others!! May God bless YOU with His Mercy and Grace.
Have a Hope Filled and blessed today. Remember there is #AlwaysHope #NeverGiveUp #30DaysThanks
