God is Our Refuge and Strength!

God is Our Refuge & Our Strength!

Are you worried about the future? Do your concerns keep you from sleeping? Are you unrestful? Did you know that God wants us to trust him and trust in him alone? Where do you run for refuge.

God is Our Refuge & Our Strength!

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:1-2, 10 NIV

David had many questions. His intense emotions caused him to talked himself and he says “find rest oh my soul in God alone for my hope comes from him he alone. He is my rock and my salvation and my fortress!

God is our Refuge!

We visited a fortress NOW this verse has a whole new meaning! The fortress was built above the city, on the rock. From this Fortress the military was able to look out over the entire island. They stayed alert in search for the enemy. With the alertness of the military watching for their enemies to attack brought peace, trust and confidence to the city.

With God as our fortress we are able to trust in HIM at all times, for God is our refuge!

Pray Today

Lord, how I thank you that you are my refuge, my Strength, an ever present help in time of need. I will not fear! Even though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though there are wars and rumors of war which cause the mountains to shake yet I will praise YOU.

OH LORD God, You are the Almighty, You are God with us, Lord the God of Jacob, YOU ARE OUR STRENGTH!!! my fortress in the midst of war.

Teach me oh Lord to be Still and KNOW that YOU are GOD!!!!

For I will exalt your Holy name above ALL my Circumstances!!!
