Those who know your Name… TRUST

Lent Day 21

“Put out into the deep!”

Jesus told his apostles to “Put out into the deep!”

What if we are being asked “Put out into the deep!” To go to the deeper Waters in our relationship with the Lord? How will we respond?

Will we say “No thank you, I’m comfortable on the beach 🏝”

Or

“Take me to the deep waters that I might have more of you! “

I have found one of my most formidable challenges has been Change.

Who wants to leave the sun warming beach 🏝 in basking in the SON, to go into stormy waters with Him?

Jesus constantly challenges me to seek a deeper level in my personal relationship with Him! To “Put out into the deep!” Luke 5:4

To “Seek Me first and the Kingdom of God all these things will be added unto you” Jn 6:33

To “fix my eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of my faith” Hebrews 12:2

I am constantly challenged to let go of MY ideas, MY hopes, MY dreams, and MY ways! To lay it ALL down at the foot of the cross!

Peter was asked to “leave everything and follow me” what does that look like in your life?

God has once again challenged me to “Put out into the deep!” And I will follow!

Join me as I take this Journey of Hope for the next 40 days!
