Lent Day 35
Is A Flood Coming?
Has the enemy come in like a flood to steal away your peace, your joy, or your strength?
Why does God allows a flood? A flood comes and washes away all the garbage and debris left in its path. Occasionally it brings death. However, the remaining silt actually nourishes the ground.
Isaiah tells us “This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” Isaiah 30:15 NIV
It’s in Repentance and Resting, better is Trusting in the Lord we will receive Peace, Joy and Strength. Upon Repentance of Sin our Lives will be transformed. Jus as in a Flood the area has been transformed, erosion washed away the sand leaving a richer, firmer foundation.
“Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.”
“He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.” Isaiah 30:20, 23 NIV
Sometimes God will allow a flood of problems to come which make us grow us and strengthen us physically emotionally and Spiritually. To place our feet on a former foundation of Jesus Christ! But take Heart Jesus WON the VICTORY on the Cross!
Do not be Afraid! “Look to the Lord and His Strength; Seek HIS face always.” 1 Chronicles 16:11
Continue to seek the Face of Jesus through Lent!
