Journey of Hope Through Lent – Lent Day 8 Alone

Are you Feeling ALONE?

Have you ever felt all alone? Jesus did! He Felt abandoned, betrayed by His Father. However, You are not alone!

Today, in the busyness of our society the tyranny of the urgent, and the captivation of our cell phones we have become a very lonely people. People no longer have conversation without constant interruption of the cell phone.

This past week I’ve had to stop nearly all of my commitments, the Lord put a halt to all of my plans! I am learning to sit, to be quiet, To know that God is always with me. No matter where I go, no matter what I am doing, If I am alone, or with other people. God is always with me!

Thus, here is my Lenten challenge for day 8; no matter if you are alone or with someone else, no matter where you go, no matter what you were going through God is with you! Take advantage that God is with you. He is our Emmanuel (God with us)

May God be your greatest comfort for He understands loss. So does Jesus Christ who died on the cross, He was separated from His Father was in agony with the separation He too, felt alone. Jesus understands He longs to share His love with you! Therefore, Spend your Alone time with God just as Jesus Our Example did

Have you ever felt all alone? You are not alone!

Join me as I take this Journey of Hope for the next 40 days!
